Beyond the contact form, this site does not collect personal information such as names, contact details, or login credentials. If you use the contact form, the name and email address provided are used solely to respond to your inquiry and are not shared with third parties or used for marketing purposes.

2.2 Anonymous Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) in a privacy-protective configuration. Following the setup used on the main Syllabics.ca platform, we have disabled Google Signals, advertising personalization, and cross-site tracking.

GA4 provides only anonymous, aggregated information such as:

• Number of visits and pages viewed.
• Approximate region (e.g., province-level only; city-level data is not used).
• Device type and browser information.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for 2 months, which is the minimum retention period available in GA4. We do not create user profiles or track users across other websites.

2.3 Cookies

We use minimal analytics cookies to support anonymous usage data. These cookies do not identify individuals. We do not use marketing cookies, fingerprinting technologies, or behavioral tracking.

3. Cultural and Project Data Stewardship

The projects featured on this site, such as Ḵulus and Waniskâw, often involve cultural knowledge and community-led data. As a technical steward, I adhere to the following restrictions:

• I do not reuse or analyze cultural content for commercial benefit unrelated to the intended project.
• I do not share sensitive community data with third parties.
• This portfolio serves as a record of design and technical implementation, not as a repository for open-access cultural data that belongs to sovereign Nations.

4. Security & Third Parties

Firebase Hosting

This platform is hosted on secure infrastructure (Firebase Hosting). Minimal, non-identifying operational logs may exist for security and stability purposes but are deleted according to the provider's lifecycle policies.

hCaptcha

The contact form uses hCaptcha to prevent spam. This service may collect hardware and software information (such as device data) to verify that a human is interacting with the form. This data is processed by hCaptcha in accordance with their privacy policy.
